Endangered Inks
Endangered Inks is a founder-led wildlife art brand capturing, in ink on paper, what the world risks losing. Through original realistic INKS (art) and hand-finished fantasy limited editions, we honour endangered species and support conservation through responsible, purpose-driven creation. Our INKS exists to create connection, awaken awareness, and inspire the protection of wildlife.
Endangered Inks is the artistic vision of Carroll Hutchings, owner and founding artist living in France with her Great Dane Digby.
Working primarily in ink on paper and mixed media, Carroll creates original pieces known as INKS: highly detailed, time-intensive art that capture the presence, fragility, and quiet dignity of the wild with touches of colour to emphasis a detail of the species we risk losing.
This passion for wildlife developed through experiences living and working in Africa, urban life in Europe, and foundational family roots established during a barefoot seaside upbringing in Bermuda.
Alongside her original INKS, her limited editions are each hand-finished with pastel introducing a subtle interplay between realism and fantasy, inviting the viewer to connect with each species through botanic splendour.
At the heart of Endangered Inks lies a commitment to responsible, purpose-led creation. Every piece supports conservation by donating 20% of sales to related preservation efforts, linking art with ecological responsibility.
Collected internationally, Carrolls’ work resonates with those who seek more than aesthetic acquisition — it speaks to collectors who value meaning, rarity, and impact. These pieces exist as both artworks and quiet acts of advocacy: fostering connection, deepening awareness, and inspiring the protection of wildlife for generations to come.
